"Overall the FOXSAT-HDR is a fantastic PVR, with a big hard disk, faultless operating system and excellent picture quality. Sky should be very worried indeed." - Definition Magazine: Foxsat HDR Review.
"There's absolutely nothing about the Humax Foxsat-HDR that would put us off recommending it. There are a few minor complaints, but the majority of them are to do with broadcasters and copyright rules, not the hardware. If you're seeking a freesat personal video recorder, your options are quite limited at the moment, but the Foxsat-HDR is likely to remain the best machine on the market for some time to come." - CNET the Expert Tech Reviewers.
"A monster HDD gives you total control over your TV. Combined with a raft of smart features and striking image quality, this is the ultimate Freeview set-up that doesn't require large sums of monthly cash." - DVD and Blue Ray Reviews.
Don't forget that you'll need two cables from your satellite dish to this receiver to fully utilise the Freesat+ record functionality. With just a single cable you can still record the channel you are watching, and receive updates, but won't be able to record one channel whilst recording/watching another.
